I joined the American Author's Association several years ago and consider it to be one of the best professional groups a new author can join. The president, Maria Edwards, is a very nice lady who is always ready to help authors. It is a wonderful place to get your book reviewed, and each year the associaton presents awards for the best books in several categories.

Besides writing I also have a small online business selling dagger, knives, and swords. I have sold these items to individuals such as hunters and collectors as well several WWII Nazi daggers to the television show "Bones" for one of their episodes.

I stumbled across this website quite by accident, but found it to be a great site for searching for photographs of buidings or houses almost anywhere in the world. I have looked up addresses in the U.S., Mexico, and Hong Kong, and each time it goes right to the address and gives a great street-level photo of it. Check it out.
